Growing up I remember having so much natural energy being able to run around and play for hours without being tired.
Now a days it seems as though I can’t get enough energy and I have to get it from multiple sources like green tea, coffee or Red Bull. However after being deprived of those once beloved beverages during pregnancy a few months ago, I’ve come up with a much more healthy natural alternative that I’ve grown to love and enjoy and I hope you do as well.
Becoming a stay at home mom of three has made my life busier than I could’ve ever imagined. So this natural Energy boosting Green smoothie I make first thing in the morning; helps to get my day started and is just the right amount of pick me up to complete my tasks for the day. An added bonus to this smoothie is that I know exactly what’s in it and I get to modify to taste when ever I please. I also add a little bit of vitamin C because we all know how “germy” kids can be, and maintaining my health is number one on my lastest list of priorities.

Energy Boosting Green Smoothie
1. 1 cup of Apple juice or almond milk for thicker creamier smoothie
2. A handful of spinach
3. 1/2 banana
4. 1/2 cup of pineapple chunks
5. Any form of vitamin c supplement of your choice.
Blend for 60 seconds
Pour and serve
